Reclamation Industry Information Session for Indigenous Communities

In partnership with Business Link and Environmental Services Association of Alberta, Alberta Indigenous Relations – Economic Development is facilitating a half-day session at Business Link in Edmonton and is inviting interested Indigenous communities to attend in-person or online via webcast.

Many inactive and abandoned oil and gas projects are on-Reserve and in Traditional Territories of Indigenous Peoples. There is a large and growing interest from Indigenous communities to participate in the Land Reclamation and Remediation business. We want to make sure they have a good idea of what the business is about, how to do the job right and make money.
